The Social Enterprise Start-up Weekend
Part of the Ignite! Pitch Series, powered by Meridian Credit Union

This three-part series encourages ncTakeOff entrepreneurs to spark ideas and set them ablaze! The first pitch competition will take place between March 9-11th 2018. This Start-up Weekend will allow Niagara College students to pitch their social enterprise ideas for the Niagara Region. On Friday and Saturday, entrepreneurial individuals will meet, form teams, and develop ideas into a business model while being supported by several mentors. By Sunday, teams are ready to pitch in front of a panel of industry professionals. The winner of this weekend will receive social enterprise starter prize package (including $1000 cash) and continue on to Pitch Perfect, the second stage of the pitch series where they will have the chance to win additional prizes.
