Pitch Perfect Competition

ncTakeOff and Meridian Credit Union present Pitch Perfect: a pitch competition for early-stage student-led companies. Students, this is your opportunity to refine your business pitch, connect with potential investors, and enter to win $3000 in cash and various business development services.

Networking begins at 4:30pm. Pitches begin at 5:00pm. 

Taxis will be available from the NOTL Campus, if needed.

  • Applications due Sunday, March 10, 2019 @ 11:59pm.

  • One winning contestant will walk away with $3,000 cash for their business. 
  • The winner will also be automatically advanced to the IGNITE Niagara community pitch competition and will be able to compete for $10,000 cash and a bundle of business services worth $30,000.

  • At least one contestant must be a current student at any Ontario college or university. Entries can be done on an individual or team basis. Teams are required to appoint a team representative (primary applicant), who will be responsible for submitting the entry form and serving as the team’s main contact for matters related to the contest. 

  • The idea/venture must be the brainchild of one/several of the team members. 

  • Each contestant must consent to the use, reproduction, publication, transmission and/or broadcasting of his/her name, address, likeness, school, age, program and/or prize information, without compensation, in any advertisement, publication or promotion, for general news or other information purposes. Winners must also consent to their photographs being taken by the contest organizers for the same purposes, without further compensation.
